In September, the science fiction short story contest "If Today is Tomorrow" was launched, which was announced by the IBS group of companies, the popular science magazine "Science and Life" and the Embassy of the Republic of France in Russia.

The purpose of the contest is to support Russian science fiction and identify new ideas for a technological breakthrough in the coming years.

Elena Lozovskaya, editor-in-chief of the journal "Science and Life", is a guest of the program.

A conversation about the traditions and future of the genre, about the unique "Soviet school" of fiction and new names, what will happen to the book in the future and what kind of fiction the younger generation prefers.
