Cosmonautics. A cure from outer space. (2015)

An unusual package was sent to the ISS with the crew of the Soyuz TMA-17M spacecraft.

The mini-laboratory will be deployed directly in orbit, in the Japanese scientific module "Kibo".

Weightlessness conditions are very suitable for protein crystallization, which scientists plan to use as a medicine against tumors.

In addition to the Japanese Space Agency, Russian institutes of crystallography, cytology, and biopreparations take part in these experiments.

The experiment will last two months, and by September scientists will receive samples of the necessary sizes for further research and new scientific discoveries already on Earth.
