The joint Russian-European project "ExoMars" is at the final stage.

The start of the first expedition is planned in the spring of 2016, the second - in 2018. The Institute of Space Research is creating instruments that will be installed on the modules of the interplanetary station, their main task is the search for extraterrestrial life.

The search is not limited to the nearest planets.

According to scientists, the most amazing places in the Solar System where life is worth looking for are the moons of the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn.

Sergey Saveliev, Director of the ExoMars program at Thales Alenia Space (France) Walter Cunho, Alexander Trokhimovsky, Georgy Managadze, Igor Mitrofanov, Alvaro Jimenez, Leonid Xanthomaliti talk about unique scientific instruments.
