The film tells about the inhabitants of a communal apartment in a house in the center of Moscow.
The film includes interviews with other tenants in the interiors of their rooms (sinhr.), night filming Tverskaya Street, the movement of tanks and other military equipment to the Tver, Red Square, the issuance of a communal apartment tenants of humanitarian aid from the German Red Cross activists.
The film features footage of foreign and domestic newsreel for different years (short plans).
