The film tells about the fundamental laws of physics, the problems that correspond to the main stages in the development of science.
The film consists of 3 parts and is designed for students of physical faculties:
1. Mechanics.
Atomism.
Wave-particle duality.
2. Electromagnetism.
Waves and photons.
Light.
3. Space and time.
Fundamental interactions.
Elementary particles.
The film was filming the following: conducting laboratory experiments and studies form the laser system.
In the film, newsreels: scientists for conducting experiments in the laboratory, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky in his office and the conduct of experiments, Landau and Bohr in the office and among scientists, academics and Kurchatov Tamm sitting on the bench, S.Korolev gives command to launch rocket, space launch "Vostok", Yuri Gagarin in spacecraft cabin, nuclear explosion, view Chernobyl after the accident, Leo Tolstoy on a walk, playing Einstein violin, Bohr group of scientists, the general form of radar systems, academician at N.Basov laser setup train traffic hovercraft in Japan installation "Tokamak", launching of a space ship "Challenger", Academician Sakharov speech at the awarding him the prize before Einstein and Japanese students, Nobel Prize physicists, including L.Landau view of Hiroshima after the atomic explosion.
