Fighters of the reactive era.

At the end of the Second World War, the victorious countries dispersed the industrial production of the latest technology to supersonic speeds.

The new types of aircraft first appeared silently to the light, and only then did the rumor spread about their fantastic possibilities.

May 6, 1953 in Lukhovitsy was put into operation a secret flight test facility, object number 3, as was indicated in the order.

For 50 years the aviation production and testing complex of the RAC MiG has produced thousands of aircraft, moreover, they were not only collected here, but literally taught to fly.

Nikolai Fyodorovich Nikitin, General Director and General Designer of RAC "MiG" tells about new aircrafts, their testing and modernization of weapons.

The preparation of the program uses documentary chronicles of different years, including personnel during the Korean War, as well as recording a flight on a supersonic MiG-29 fighter under the leadership of Hero of Russia Alexander Pelikh.
