Ilyushin is a man and an airplane.

The issue is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the great Soviet aircraft designer Sergei Vladimirovich Ilyushin.

People who personally knew Sergei Vladimirovich and worked with him for many years, talk about the most famous projects of Ilyushin Design Bureau, and the film crew flies on the passenger plane IL-96-300 to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, repeating the first non-stop flight of this car.

The general designer of the Ilyushin Aviation Complex Heinrich Novozhilov and the crew of the IL-96-300 crew are participating in the program: 1st class pilots Vasiliy Fetisov, Anatoly Mokrov, Sergei Chibisov, flight engineer of the 1st class Sergey Gorelov.
