The first noticeable appearance on the screen of singer Anita Tsoi took place in "Christmas meetings of Alla Pugacheva" in 1997.
The reaction of spectators and colleagues was ambiguous, from total rejection to ecstasy.
And the songs, and the manner of performance, and exotic appearance, as well as the name of Anita immediately reminded many of the tragically dead Victor Tsoi.
After the vivid speech of Anita, rumors spread: whether she is the wife of a popular singer and composer, or her sister ... some colleagues-musicians attributed Anita's success to her real husband is Sergey Tsoi, an influential official, an adviser to the Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.
