Eighth series.

"Auschwitz, A-5104".

During the Second World War, Nazi Dr.

Josef Mengele worked in the notorious concentration camp "Auschwitz", he became famous for conducting experiments on prisoners, including children.

The twins were especially interesting "genetic material" for him, so when in 1943 the 13-year-old brothers Tibor and Miklos Blaers from Transcarpathia got to Auschwitz, Mengele took them to his special unit.

Both survived only by a miracle, perhaps because they helped each other.

But after the liberation, they parted: one went west with the American troops, the other returned to his homeland.

For 60 years, the brothers did not know anything about each other.

Everyone thought that the second is no longer alive.

Then one day the children of Tibor Blaer saw their father on the English film "Science and the Swastika".

Then Tibor told them about Brother Miklos.

The family immediately turned to the program “Wait for me”, which helped to realize the amazing meeting of the twins who won the “Angel of Death”.

This story is not only about separated twins.

It is about how the fate of millions of people has changed and crippled the war.

The story of people and events that can never be forgotten.

In the preparation of the plot used excerpts of the program "Wait for me" and footage chronicles of the military and postwar years.

The film was shot by the employees of the State Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau, Martha Bialikievits and Danuta Zizing, the former prisoners of Auschwitz, Noah Flug and Daniel Hanoch, the Tibor and Miklos families, their neighbors and friends, as well as Israeli and Brazilian journalists and the neighbors of Dr.

Mengele.
