Abstract: Mikhail Klavdievich Tikhonravov is a Soviet engineer, designer of space and rocket technology. He developed the first Soviet two-stage rocket engine, created the first Soviet rocket powered by hybrid fuel, and was engaged in research on liquid rocket engines.
