Lavochkin's NGO is preparing to send the second hydrometeorological satellite "Electro-L" to the Baikonur cosmodrome.

In the fall, it will be launched into orbit and will become an assistant to forecasters and rescuers.

The device will provide a multispectral survey of the Earth every half hour, and in case of detection of natural disasters - every 10 minutes.

Thanks to the high resolution of the images, it will be possible to detect forest fires at the earliest stage.

Ivan Moskatinyev and Gennady Eliseev talk about the satellite.

Lavochkin's NGO is preparing to send the second meteorological satellite "Electro-L" into space.

The launch of the satellite is expected not only in Russia, because of its advantageous location, its data will be useful not only to our country.

In addition, by launching the second "Electro", Russia will fulfill its international obligations, the satellite will enter the orbital system of the World Meteorological Organization.

RSC Energia is testing a prototype of the spacecraft of the future.

It will fly in tandem with the Angara-5A launch vehicle.

The transport system will replace the Soyuz launch vehicle bundle with the Soyuz TMA and Progress M ships.

The first unmanned launch of the new system is planned in 2021 from the Vostochny cosmodrome, and the first manned launch is scheduled for 2024.

Test cosmonauts Mark Serov, Evgeny Prokopyev, Oleg Artemyev starred in the story of Natalia Burtseva.

Cosmonautics. MCC - 55. (2015)

The plot for the 55th anniversary of the Mission Control Center (MCC).

The plot starred the head of the MCC Maxim Matyushin, cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin, the replacement head of the flight Yuri Krasnykh.

Cosmonautics. "Cemetery" for satellites. (2015)

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:05:44 to collection V4 10/14/2022

The Earth's orbit is increasingly causing alarm among ballistics.

From the collision of old unguided satellites, the amount of debris in space is growing exponentially, 80% of space debris is located at an altitude of up to 3000 km.

This is a threat not only to operating satellites, but also to the ISS crew.

Scientists talk about the need to create a special orbit, a kind of graveyard for satellites, because if you don't fight space debris, it will be impossible to go into space in 40 years.

The plot starred the head of the maneuvering group of transport ships and stations Evgeny Melnikov, cosmonaut Alexander Samokutyaev, chief specialist of TsNIIMash Tatiana Grechina, head of the laboratory of TsNIIMash Sergey Avershev, astronomer Alexander Bagrov, head of the ballistic center Igor Oleynikov.

Cosmonautics. Baikonur: relay of starts. (2016)

Baikonur breaks records for the number of launches.

The third launch in a week: Soyuz with the Resurs-P spacecraft, Proton with the ExoMars interplanetary station and Soyuz again, only now with a manned spacecraft.

Preparations for the launch of the second cargo ship of the new, upgraded MS series are continuing in the assembly and testing building at Baikonur.

The launch of the Progress MS-02 supply ship to the ISS is scheduled for the last day of March, the weather makes its own adjustments, however, the work of the cosmodrome continues in any, even extreme conditions.

The plot starred Igor Komarov, Oleg Skripochka, Alexey Ovchinin, Jeffrey Williams, Rano Juraeva, Igor Barmin.

Cosmonautics. Plutonium for Pluto. (2015)

Title image

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:03:24 to collection V4 10/12/2022

The spacecraft called "New Horizons" reached Pluto, photographed it from a distance of 12 thousand kilometers and went further towards the Kuiper belt on the border of the Solar System.

Scientists suggest that there may be other dwarf planets, large asteroids and comets.

Presumably, the reconnaissance probe will work in deep space for another 10 years, thanks to special batteries based on the plutonium isotope.

Cosmonautics. Victorious "Progress". (2015)

Preparations for the launch of the Progress M-27M transport ship are underway at Baikonur.

This year, the ISS crew will receive from Earth not only the necessary food, water and a change of clothes, the astronauts will be given a copy of the Victory Banner and St.

George ribbons.

Interview: Oleg Burakov, Deputy Technical Director for the preparation of the Progress TCG, Igor Khamits, Head of the Design Center for Manned Space Complexes, cosmonaut Yuri Lonchakov.
