Cosmonautics. Drones over fall fields. (2015)

Title image

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:05:13 to collection V4 10/10/2022

Cosmonautics creates a lot of technologies that are successfully used in various spheres of human activity, but it also happens in a different way.

Unmanned aerial vehicles in the service of space are a vivid confirmation of this.

Unmanned vehicles and quadrocopters will appear at the Vostochny cosmodrome, they are already being tested at a special training ground in the Moscow region.

After test flights with video shooting, the UAVs will go to Altai, where in the future they will have to work in the sky over the fall fields of separating parts of launch vehicles.

Igor Lyakhovenko, the chief specialist of the department for creating new tracks of TSENKI, Artem Silkin, the chief designer of the scientific center for Applied Electrodynamics, and Vladimir Kulakov, the head of the sector for the operation of the TsENKI fall areas, were filmed in the plot.

Cosmonautics. MAKS: the road to space. (2015)

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:08:08 to collection V4 10/7/2022

The 12th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2015 in the Moscow region.

The Zhukovsky Air Show is one of the largest venues for demonstrating developments in the field of aviation and cosmonautics.

On the walls of Roscosmos there are exhibits and developments of three promising areas: orbital grouping, lunar program, manned flights.

The salon was open only for specialists all week, and on weekends, everyone will be able to see the latest technical achievements.

The plot starred Leonid Makridenko, Alexander Kirilin, Sergey Lemeshevsky, Igor Komarov, Vladimir Solntsev, Viktor Savinykh, Mark Serov, Ranokhon Juraeva, Sergey Ryazansky, Iranian scientific journalist Reza Aslani.

Cosmonautics. Carbon fiber rocket. (2015)

Title image

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:04:08 to collection V4 10/7/2022

Everything that is intended for space should be light and at the same time as strong as possible, therefore, in modern rocket engineering, composite materials have long defeated metal alloys, even ultralight ones.

They were able to come up with and master the technology in the Moscow region, at the Roscosmos Research Institute of Special Engineering.

The basis of a rocket capable of putting a multi-ton cargo into orbit resembles a giant spool of thread.

An outer lining made of organic fiber is wound on a carbon fiber crate, such a structure can withstand both powerful overloads and large temperature differences.

Interview: General Director of TSNIISM Vyacheslav Barynin.

Cosmonautics. Solar-lunar connections of the Earth. (2015)

Title image

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:08:11 to collection V4 10/7/2022

Solar and lunar eclipses have different natures, but the "participants" are still the same - the Sun, Moon and Earth.

The physics of the effects of solar and lunar eclipses on our planet is of special scientific interest not only for astronomers and geographers, but also for biologists and physicians.

There is a theory that in the distant future earthlings will lose the opportunity to observe these celestial phenomena, because the Moon is slowly moving away from the Earth.

Oleg Ugolnikov, Sergey Popov, Stanislav Korotkiy, Vladimir Solovyov, Sergey Volkov, Lev Zeleny, Anatoly Belov talk about eclipses, auroras and the mutual influence of the Sun and Moon on our planet.

Cosmonautics. Soyuz -Apollo, docking of two systems. (2015)

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:04:38 to collection V4 10/7/2022

The plot of Natalia Burtseva for the 40th anniversary of the docking of the Soyuz and Apollo ships on July 15, 1975.

The preparation of this experiment took 3 years, a universal docking mechanism, a special transition compartment and a single life support system were developed for the ships.

This meeting in orbit marked the beginning of an era of international cooperation in space.

Interview: Viktor Blagov, Chief Specialist of RSC Energia, and Viktor Pavlovich, Deputy Head of the RSC Energia Research Center.

Cosmonautics. Life in outer space. (2015)

Title image

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:07:44 to collection V4 10/7/2022

Russian scientists have found DNA of microorganisms on the outer skin of the ISS. Previously it was believed that cosmic radiation and temperature changes kill all living things, the experiment of Russian microbiologists refuted this fact.

Russian scientists compared space samples with terrestrial ones and found some analogues.

It remains to find out exactly how the microbes ended up on the ISS - whether they came from Earth or from space.

The plot starred Tatiana Grebennikova, Oleg Tsygankov, Vladimir Solovyov, Elena Shubralova, Valery Shematovich.

Cosmonautics. An accident in orbit. (2015)

Title image

On April 28, 2015, the Progress M-27M transport cargo ship launched from Baikonur to the ISS and disappeared from radar 1.5 seconds before the estimated time of separation of the 3rd stage of the launch vehicle.

MCC specialists tried to restore communication with the ship for two days, then it was decided to abandon docking with the ISS and begin bringing the ship out of orbit with subsequent flooding.

Tests of the small spacecraft "Stork" are being completed at the Samara Progress Center.

Before the satellite travels to orbit on Earth, it is waiting for a huge cycle of various checks.

Interview: Evgeny Lukin, Sergey Tkachenko, Nikolay Semkin, Ravil Akhmetov.

The crew of the Soyuz TMA-15M spacecraft with the call sign "Astray" returned to Earth.

Anton Shkaplerov, Samantha Cristoforetti and Terry Virts were supposed to return in May, however, as a result of the accident of the Progress truck, they were delayed on the ISS for another month.

For Samantha, the 200-day expedition turned into a surprise: Italy's first female cosmonaut returned to Earth as the record holder for the continuous stay of women in space, exceeding the record of American Sunita Williams by several days.
