A scientific conference "Prospects for the development of Russian cosmonautics" was held at VDNH in the renovated pavilion "Cosmos".

Specialists of the rocket and space industry, young scientists, winners of the presidential prize made reports on the future of cosmonautics.

The plot starred Ilya Smorshko, a researcher at TsNIIMash, Anton Pogrebnoy, an engineer at the Center for manned programs of TsNIIMash, Maria Danilova, a researcher at TsNIIMash, Maxim Nikitin, head of the laboratory of nano-biotechnologies at MIPT, Anton Burdanov, deputy head of the department of TsNIIMash, Boris Zelener, head of the Laboratory of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Cosmonautics. Space debris is a problem for Earthlings. (2019)

The Russian Academy of Sciences and Roscosmos have started developing a national program for research and development of methods to counter threats from outer space.

First of all, these are asteroids, comets and fragments of space rocks, but space debris in near-Earth orbit is even more harmful to earthlings.

During the development of cosmonautics, so much of it has accumulated that the ISS often has to change orbits and dodge debris from rockets and satellites, because even a small fragment with a diameter of several millimeters can damage the skin and cause depressurization of the station.

In modern satellites, a mode of transition to a burial orbit is provided when the fuel comes to an end and the satellite soon stops working, however, this is a temporary solution to the problem.

Sooner or later, the space "graveyard" of garbage will have to be cleared and swept away.

The plot starred Sergei Naroenkov, Boris Shustov, Yuri Makarov, Alexander Samokutyaev, Alexander Bagrov.

The annual academic "Korolev`s Readings" on cosmonautics were held at Bauman Moscow State Technical University for the 43rd time.

One of the main topics of the scientific forum was the program for the development of our eternal satellite - the Moon.

The Earth is becoming too small for humanity, so the Moon is seriously considered, first of all, as an outpost or the main base for the exploration of near and far space.

The plot starred Lev Zeleny, Igor Barmin, Evgeny Mikrin, Oleg Orlov.

Cosmonautics. "Sirius-19". (2019)

The Sirius-19 experiment is being prepared for launch at the IMBP RAS. An international crew of 6 people will spend 4 months in isolation during a virtual flight to the moon.

The tasks of the expedition are landing on our satellite and building a lunar base.

Few people know that the first such experiment was conducted back in 1967, it was called "A Year in an Earth spaceship".

For 366 days in a row, three volunteers lived and worked in a large barrel simulating an interplanetary ship.

And as studies show, psychological risks are no less important than the risks to the physical health of participants.

Interview: Reinhold Povilaitis, Vadim Gushchin, Sergey Ponomarev, Anastasia Stepanova, Oleg Orlov, Elena Fomina.

Cosmonautics. "Sirius": return from the Moon. (2019)

The international project "Sirius-19", during which a flight to the Moon is simulated, has reached the finish line, the end of the flight is planned in a month.

Observers of the project talk about how the crew copes with the tasks set, and about one of the main experiments - the crew's exit to the virtual surface of the Moon.

Interview: Evgeny Tarelkin, Vadim Gushchin, Alexander Suvorov, Oleg Kotov.

Cosmonautics. "Cold atom" on the ISS. (2019)

The ISS-60 expedition crew: Alexey Ovchinin, Nick Hague and Kristina Cook have started scientific work on the ISS. They have more than 300 experiments ahead of them.

Astronaut Christina Cook heads the Cold Atom project, under her leadership the crew will try to create the coldest place in the universe.

The plot starred Alexey Ovchinin, Sergey Ryazansky, Nick Hague, Christina Hammock Koch.

Cosmonautics. "Cossack" for "ExoMars". (2019)

Footage, 1 footage, Duration: 0:04:26 to collection V4 11/10/2022

Scientists have created the ExoMars program to understand whether life is possible on the Red Planet.

The program consists of two missions.

The first one has already started in 2016. The second stage of ExoMars with the Russian landing module Kazachok and the European rover Rosalind will start in the summer of 2020.

Interview: Dmitry Rogozin, Head of the ESA Mission in Russia Rene Pichel, Lev Zeleny, Igor Mitrofanov, Head of the Directorate for Mars Exploration of the Lavochkin NGO Peter Merkulov.

Cosmonautics. On an asteroid - to Mars. (2015)

The Bauman Moscow State Technical University hosted the next traditional "Korolev`s Readings", during which theorists and practitioners discussed the present and future of near and far space research.

The topic covers all areas from ballistics and engine building to space biology and interplanetary flights.

One of the most burning topics is a manned flight to Mars.

To bring this idea to life, the students proposed an original solution: a flight to the Red Planet inside the asteroid Itokawa.

Interview: Vera Mayorova, students Irina Prosvirina and Vasily Kopytov, Vladimir Bugrov, Igor Barmin.
